Safety Mission & Goals

The Cummings Electrical Safety Team developed a set of values that we felt were dominant factors for people who are true believers in safety. It was from these values that the Safety Tem developed the Cummings Electrical Safety Mission and Goals

Tim Cummings (left) accepts the Quoin/AGC Texas 2004 Safety Star Award for Specialty Contractor in the 100,000 to 500,000 workhour category.

1. ALWAYS put the safety of every worker on our jobsites ahead of production and schedule.
2. LEAD the electrical construction trades and the construction industry as a whole to continually improve safety on our jobsites and all other jobs.
3. INSURE all employees are provided the proper training, education, instruction and personal protective equipment to perform their work safely.
4. SEEK out hazards before the work begins and implement new safety solutions to prevent accidents.
5. NEVER compromise our firm belief in providing all employees a safe workplace, even under the influence or pressures of customers, conditions or the actions of others.
6. STAND FIRM THAT WE HAVE A MORAL OBLIGATION TO SEND ALL EMPLOYEES HOME HEALTHY AND INJURY-FREE AT THE END OF THE DAY.....EVERY DAY.
